A Note from Pastor

 God's Help Goes Deep

Ever need help with your soul?  In Psalm 19 King David is declaring the complete trustworthiness of the Word of God.  He is revealing that the law of the Lord is perfect in its accuracy and sure in its dependability.  In all the original copies nothing is tinged with error.  It is also infallible as an absolute trustworthy guide in building and sustaining our faith in God and shaping our behavior in every way.  God has revealed the magnificence of His heart and reaches to us to draw us into this wonderful life-giving and love-filled relationship with Him in Christ Jesus our Savior.

We also have our part in this relationship in the daily cultivation of a devoted heart that yearns for Him in and through every circumstance we face in life.  In our daily and ongoing response to Him we choose to root our faith in what God in Christ has provided in His redemption.

When you get to know Him and desire to please Him, you will be available for His leading and guidance through the richness of your relationship with Him.  He cares about you more than you can ever realize.  His love is real and deep.  Our part is to receive revelation of Him and live in the fullness of His love provided for us. So sensitive to this David adds this prayerful thought in verses 12 and 14 writing, “Who can discern his errors? Declare me innocent from hidden faults. Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me! Then I shall be blameless, and innocent of great transgression.  Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. Even in David’s frailty in life, his heart still sought God.
